The role offers the opportunity to work within a practical transport environment where safe vehicle operation, dependable service and timely deliveries are important.Key responsibilities• Operate an HGV safely and responsibly during night shifts• Complete delivery and collection routes as directed• Carry out routine vehicle safety checks before and after journeys• Ensure goods are handled securely and delivered in good condition• Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately• Follow road transport, site and health and safety procedures• Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues• Report any vehicle, delivery or route issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 entitlement• CPC and required driver documentation• Previous HGV driving experience preferred• Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations• Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts• Strong awareness of vehicle checks and load security• Professional attitude with good communication skills• Able to work independently and manage time effectivelyBenefits• £17 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApply today.
