The RoleAs a Helpdesk Administration Apprentice, you'll be a key member of our Service Desk team, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth coordination of facilities services across our contracts.

This is a fast-paced, organised, and detail-driven role where your focus will be on keeping information accurate, actions tracked, and communication flowing between teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

You'll gain hands-on experience in business administration while developing the skills needed to build a strong career in operational support.

You'll learn to:

-Accurately log, update, and maintain records across internal systems (including CAFM platforms such as Maximo)

-Manage shared inboxes, ensuring requests are reviewed, prioritised, and actioned in a timely way

-Support the coordination of work by raising, tracking, and updating jobs and service requests

-Process and prepare key administrative documents including purchase orders, quotations, and contract paperwork

-Maintain clear and accurate records relating to job progress, compliance, and contractor activity

-Support reporting activities by gathering data and preparing basic management information

-Communicate professionally with colleagues, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to support smooth service delivery

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, organisation, and working behind the scenes to keep everything running efficiently.

Your ApprenticeshipYou'll be enrolled onto a SCQF Level 6 Business Administration Apprenticeship, delivered with full support from a dedicated training provider.

You'll develop key skills including:

-Business administration and coordination

-Professional communication

-Data management and systems use

-Organisation, planning, and prioritisation

You'll receive structured learning, one-to-one support, and regular check-ins to help you grow in confidence and capability throughout your apprenticeship.

-A keen interest in your chosen field.

-GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4-9 or equivalent) or Scottish National 5 certificates (Grade A-C). Certificates must be provided at the interview stage.
