The business is offering a temporary opportunity for an experienced night driver.The roleAn opportunity is available for a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to work temporary night shifts from Sharnford. You will be responsible for carrying out driving duties safely, professionally and in line with road transport regulations.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts• Completing scheduled deliveries and collections safely and on time• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after journeys• Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records• Following company procedures, transport legislation and drivers’ hours regulations• Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the businessSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV driving experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Strong communication and organisational skills• A careful and responsible approach to vehicle and load safetyBenefits• Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity visibility to local employersApply today.
