The company supports the movement of goods by road and is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join its night-time transport operation on a temporary basis.The roleWe are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver with tramper experience. You will be responsible for completing planned deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and in line with legal requirements and customer schedules.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle on night-time routes• Complete deliveries and collections across planned routes• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey• Ensure loads are secure and handled responsibly• Complete delivery paperwork and other required records• Communicate professionally with transport teams and site contacts• Follow company, road safety and working-time proceduresSkills and qualifications• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement• Previous tramper experience• A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving• Good time management and route awareness• Ability to work independently during night shifts• Good communication and attention to detail• Flexibility to meet changing delivery requirementsBenefits• £18 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Temporary night-shift work in the Leicester areaIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with tramper experience and are available for night work, this could be a suitable opportunity.
