The role supports the safe and efficient movement of materials and waste using suitable heavy goods vehicles and tipper equipment.The roleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing planned deliveries and collections safely and efficiently. You will operate a tipper vehicle, follow agreed routes and instructions, and maintain a professional standard while representing the business.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 1 tipper vehicle• Collecting and delivering materials or construction-related waste• Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift• Securing loads and operating tipping equipment safely• Following site, road and health and safety procedures• Completing delivery notes and other relevant paperwork• Reporting any vehicle, load or route issues promptly• Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicleSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Driver CPC qualification• Digital tachograph card• Previous tipper driving experience• Good understanding of vehicle safety and load security• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Ability to follow instructions and work independently• Professional communication skillsThis is a days-based temporary position paying £17 per hour.
