The Islington Young People's Assessment Centre is a 24-hour staffed supported housing service that provides accommodation and support for young people leaving care, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, young people experiencing homelessness, and those at risk of homelessness. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment throughout the night, ensuring young people feel secure, respected and supported. You will help maintain the smooth running of the service, respond to welfare needs, and work collaboratively with the wider team to support young people to achieve positive outcomes and move towards greater independence. Desirable Experience working within supported housing, homelessness, mental health, care leaver or young people's services. Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and risk management. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
