Role Responsibilities -Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs across designated MET Police buildings. -Perform carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, plastering, and general building fabric maintenance as required. -Complete minor repairs to fixtures, fittings, doors, walls, partitions, and building finishes. -Ensure all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in accordance with contractual SLAs and KPIs. -Maintain accurate records using Mitie systems, including job sheets, asset updates, and compliance documentation. -Liaise professionally with the client and site personnel, ensuring minimal disruption to sensitive environments. -Diagnose issues, propose solutions, and escalate complex problems when required. -Participate in the out-of-hours rota (where applicable) to support emergency call‑outs on police estates.
