We're looking for a Senior Environment Advisor to join our Thames Water team covering major projects in Twickenham and Surrey. Location: Mogden, Twickenham and Wisley / Hogsmill, SurreyHours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. This is an exciting opportunity to be the environmental lead, providing expert guidance and support to project delivery teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring environmental legal compliance while supporting the delivery of Thames Water projects and our Building for a Sustainable World Framework. This site-based role will see you supporting up to five projects, working closely with the SHE Team from design through construction to project handover. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Environment Advisor, you'll be working within the environmental team, supporting them in driving environmental sustainability across our projects. Your day to day will include: -Reviewing pre-construction information to evaluate environmental risks and opportunities, communicating findings to project teams -Supporting project teams with obtaining authorisations, permits, licences and consents, engaging with regulatory bodies -Conducting environmental inspections and audits, leading incident investigations and developing learning outcomes -Collating and reporting sustainability information against agreed objectives, maintaining databases and producing case studies -Chairing sustainability meetings with operational staff and supporting the supply chain to maintain strong environmental performance What are we looking for?
