MAIN DUTIES The role of the Emergency Preparedness Resilience & Response (EPRR) service is to ensure the organisation complies with it's statutory obligations regarding Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response to ensure the Trust maintains is operational capability as far as is reasonably practical during an emergency/incident. The EPRR Manager will be an expert for all EPRR matters within the Trust and act as a conduit for all guidance and information whilst promoting and embedding a positive culture of EPRR across SPFT. The EPRR Manager will support the Head of EPPR in co-ordinating and embedding the Trusts emergency response plans including business continuity plans, EPRR culture, and associated processes in line with the Civil Contingencies Act and NHS England EPRR core standards. The post holder will work towards defined results and will work closely with partner organisations to support system resilience and to contribute to forums that enable the sharing of best practice, peer review and collaborative working. Reporting to the Head of EPRR, the post holder will be responsible for the safe, efficient, effective and co-ordinated EPRR function for the Trusts Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Recovery (EPRR). The EPRR Manager will be the deputy for the Head of EPRR as required. The post holder will ensure the Trust meets its statutory regulatory and NHS requirements and ensuring alignment with the activity of the Trust under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) and complies with all relevant EPRR guidance for the NHS, non-statutory guidance that accompanies the Civil Contingencies Act including business continuity and resilience preparedness. The post holder will support interpreting, risk assessing, planning and managing the development and implementation of all arrangements relating to SPFT preparedness, resilience, ability to respond to incidents and emergencies as defined in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Ensuring national and local standards are met including Care Quality Commission (CQC) Standards and NHS EPRR national contract standards across all sites and preparing for the annual Core Standards submission. The post holder will be responsible for compiling the Trust annual business plan in relation to EPRR, developing the strategy for each area of activity to secure delivery of EPRR compliance, ensuring compliance with local, regional and national guidance and ensuring implementation and that performance targets and strategic objectives are met. The Ideal Candidate You will be a confident communicator in Spanish, both verbal and written. Aswell as being able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes; • Independent, able to represent the business when travelling solo on business. • Be a confident communicator with the ability to build and develop relationships with our suppliers and new prospects. • Can demonstrate a real passion for travel products and Spanish speaking destinations. • Able to bring new ideas to the team for our destinations. • Can demonstrate a considered approach with a high-level detail and numeracy skills. • Has excellent written communication and presentation abilities. • Be a proficient user across Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Have the flexibility to travel frequently overseas, sometimes this could be at short notice and could be 3 or 4 nights away from home in our peak buying periods. Desirable; • Educational qualifications in art, literature, history and culture. • Destination knowledge arising from past travel experiences particularly relating to Europe, Latin America and Asia. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. • Experience & qualifications relating to the tourism sector.
