Business Development Executive We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Business Development Executive with a proven track record in the education or professional development sector. You will drive new business growth, develop long-term client relationships and contribute to the strategic expansion of our training and learning services. This is a target-driven role suited to someone with strong interpersonal skills and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. High call volumes and an attitude to achieve, with progression. You will reach out to businesses, and learners. Courses vary from construction, engineering and trade businesses that need employees qualified, compliant and CSCS/CITB-ready. Key responsibilities - Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across education providers, corporate learning teams and professional bodies - Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders - Develop tailored proposals, presentations and commercial models to meet client needs - Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and close - Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs - Maintain accurate records in the CRM and report on pipeline and performance - Collaborate with product, delivery and marketing teams to shape offerings and support successful implementation Essential skills and experience - Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar sales/business development role within the education or professional development industry -Strong passion for Business development. - Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills - Commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills - Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipeline and reporting - Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to travel.
