To carry out all aspects of electrical work to maintain the health service premises across the estate. Install, test, commission, maintain, service and repair electrical and electronic systems as well as associated mechanical equipment. Maintain a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors with regards to building fabric and building services. RESPONSIBILITIES Work as an individual and act on own initiative as well as part of the trade team and participate in cross-trade working as and when required. Ensure letters and any preparation are sent out in a timely manner. • To communicate with patients and external departments via the telephone and face to face, scheduling appointments and answering general queries. • To escalate any concerns regarding capacity to the Operational Co-ordinator, and expedite appointments and procedures to avoid breaching DMO1/ Cancer wait times. • Ensure patients that have failed to attend or have cancelled their appointments are identified and re-booked according to departmental and trust policy.
