What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have experience working within a building services consultancy environment and possess a strong understanding of electrical design principles.You will ideally have: Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services. Knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and British Standards. Experience working on projects within commercial, residential, healthcare, data centre or public sector environments. Proficiency with: Amtech Dialux Relux Revit Strong communication and coordination skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A desire to work towards or progress Chartership. For senior-level applicants, experience leading projects, mentoring engineers and managing client relationships would be advantageous. Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance. Experience incorporating low and zero carbon technologies into building services designs. Proficiency working within BIM environments, including Revit. Experience using dynamic thermal modelling software such as IES would be advantageous. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to mentor and support junior engineers and technicians. Progression towards Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE, IMechE or a similar professional institution would be desirable.
