Safe management of sharps procedures including training, use, storage and disposal Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy, clean and sterile, and safe way, free from hazards. Initiation of remedial / corrective action where needed or escalation to responsible management Actively identifying, reporting, and correction of health and safety hazards and infection hazards immediately when recognized. The role would involve supporting all children including pupils with EHCPs and SEND support plans. You may be expected to support pupils across year groups and will work under the guidance of teaching staff, the SENDCO and outside agencies in order to implement agreed work programmes. We expect excellent classroom practice, the ability to inspire and motivate children, a calm and flexible approach to working in a primary school, imagination and initiative and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position is open to candidates with appropriate training and relevant experience in a primary school setting. Ideally with experience of working with children with special educational needs.
