This post combines the delivery of clinical care within the respective Allergy and Severe Ashma services with leadership of the Clinical Nurse Specialist Team. The Allergy service is a Royal College of Physicians Improving Quality in Allergy Services (IQAS) accredited Centre and the combined Severe Asthma & Allergy services is a World Allergy Organisation (WAO)-designated Centre of Excellence for 2026 2029. The postholder should be highly specialised in Allergy and/or Asthma and will be expected to undertake 50% of their working time within both specialities. The remaining clinical aspect of the role will be tailored to their existing expertise. Key skills and experience required: • Significant experience designing or transforming Employee Relations services within complex organisations, with a strong focus on creating integrated, end-to-end workforce support models • Strong understanding of employee relations, case management, wellbeing and HR advisory services, with the ability to design joined-up services that improve consistency, efficiency and user experience • Proven ability to work collaboratively across HR, operational, wellbeing, digital and transformation teams to deliver seamless, user-centred services that strengthen workforce experience, manager capability and staff retention • Proven ability to collaborate across medical workforce, HR, operational, digital and transformation teams to deliver nationally consistent, user-centred services that support workforce sustainability and high-quality patient care • Proven experience designing or delivering HR service transformation, operating model redesign or large-scale people change programmes • Strong understanding of HR processes, service delivery models and workforce transformation within complex organisations • Experience building user-centred services, translating operational needs and policy requirements into practical and scalable service solutions • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across senior leaders, HR teams, digital partners and operational services • Experience leading complex workshops, service design activity and collaborative problem-solving across multiple stakeholders • Strong programme delivery and strategic planning capability, with the ability to manage priorities, risks and dependencies in a fast-paced environment You can find further details about the role, including key responsibilities and accountabilities, alongside the organisational structure and person specification in the attached Job Description and other supporting documents.
