About The Role Due to retirement, we are seeking to appoint an experienced EYFS Leader to manage our PVI nursery based at Priory School. We can offer a 3–6-month hand over allowing you to get to know and work hands on with managers, staff, children and families. You will be given the opportunity to attend relevant training, meetings and forums. At Hatfield Nursery, we are a welcoming, inclusive setting looking for an experienced and innovative manager to lead our nursery for children from 0-5 years old. The nursery operates from 7.30am-5.30pm except Bank Holidays and Christmas to New Year. As Nursery Manager you will have a strong understanding of child development, attachment and inclusive practice, leading with passion and dedication to ensure all our children grow educationally and thrive socially and emotionally. You will be the Designated Safeguarding Lead and have a secure knowledge and experience of safeguarding. You will oversee SEND and support the SEND leads. As the Nursery Manager you will be an experienced practitioner and leader, play a crucial role in promoting high standards within our nursery and supporting staff in their role as practitioners, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation and smooth running of the nursery, ensuring that the best possible environment and care is provided for our children, families and staff.
