The Hospital Operations (HO) workstream is part of the Healthcare Directorate which supports the NHP vision and strategic objectives from an operations lens. Key areas of activity include leading the Estates Services elements for the estates and facilities team during design meetings, business case reviews, operational readiness assurance activities and development of New Hospital Programme guidance and support products in collaboration with key stakeholders. NHS England has a wide range of statutory functions, responsibilities and regulatory powers. These are focused on supporting the wider NHS to deliver high quality care, as well as doing those things that are best done once for the whole NHS.
