You will lead shifts, coordinate the care team and ensure residents receive safe, high quality and person centred care at all times. Working closely with Nurses and the wider clinical team, you will support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily routines while ensuring dignity, safety and wellbeing are always prioritised. You will also support the accurate completion of care plans, risk assessments and daily records, ensuring care is delivered in line with each resident’s needs and preferences. You will provide guidance and support to Care Assistants during each shift, helping to maintain high standards of care, positive teamwork and a calm, supportive environment. Your role will include monitoring residents’ wellbeing, reporting changes promptly to the clinical team, and responding appropriately to emergencies or incidents.
