    We are advertising for a Senior Clinical Fellow (registrar level (ST3+)) in Upper GI, General Surgery at Southmead Hospital. The position is fixed term for 12 months and starting in October 2026. The post is intended to provide additional experience in various general surgical specialities to enable progression into a formal NTN for general surgical training. Although not a recognised training post, there are considerable training and educational opportunities for the successful candidates. There is a comprehensive induction course and regular weekly teaching with the intention that the service commitment, supervision level and educational opportunities will be equivalent to that of our existing trainees. This is a Full-Time post providing with basic hours of 40 hours per week, plus General Surgery oncalls as an addition.     An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician looking to work at the front door of urgent mental health services in CNWL. The SPA/OOHCR Senior Practitioner will play a crucial role in delivering urgent mental health support to people in mental health crisis. The SPA is CNWL’s 24/7 crisis line and urgent referral service where clinicians work primarily over the telephone to conduct clinical triages and support callers to access crisis support in a timely manner, and to remain in the community. The service also provides face to face crisis assessments between 8pm and 8am across Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, K&C and Westminster. Within these hours clinicians will travel to peoples’ homes and conduct assessments in order to provide an alternative to attending A&E. We believe that the best care is delivered by enthusiastic and skilled healthcare professionals who are passionate about crisis support and understanding of the social stressors that can contribute to people feeling distressed. The service values those with a wealth of experience of mental health conditions and their treatment. You will also be prepared to work nights and be involved in the clinical supervision of the staff undertaking the OOHs crisis assessment role. The key elements of this post are: -Overseeing and conducting rapid engagement with service users over the telephone and in-person by conducting face to face assessment in their homes. -Delivering care and training/supervising others to ensure a high level of triage, assessment and signposting of service users to statutory and non-statutory support services. -Working closely with our Bed management services, home treatment teams and psychiatric liaison teams and the Mental Health Crisis assessment services as well as having an excellent understanding of CNWL referral pathways in secondary care -Using excellent clinical assessment and risk formulation skills and being able to confidently communicate to the team and to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.     We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Medicines Management Assistant (MMA) team . OurMMA team is required to support the ward based clinical pharmacy services at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH). It is an exciting time to join our team as we have recently restructured our team to help meet our ambition of providing outstanding pharmacy services. As part of this we want to shine a spotlight on MMAs and the value they add to our team, patient care and the organisation. All MMAs at ESTH are NVQ Level 2 trained and provide a full ward based service to ensure the safe, timely and financially sound provision of pharmaceutical items. You will be a key member of the pharmacy clinical team, working together to provide excellent patient focused care. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, and have a good attention to detail. NVQ Level 2, previous experience of working in hospital pharmacy and knowledge of pharmacy distribution and stock systems is essential. Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire. We serve an area that is rich in diversity, with a mix of urban and rural areas, and differing levels of quality of life. We cover some of the most prosperous postcodes in the country, as well as some poorer areas. Key activities in addition to provision of a regular top-up service will be: • Support the transfer of patient’s own and dispensed one-stop medication between wards • To put stock items away and rotate stock to minimise wastage. • To identify slow moving stock and transfer to alternative locations in the trust to minimise wastage. • To identify medicines supplied for patients that have been transferred and to deliver to patient's current location to reduce requirement for re-dispensing. • To check and clear medicine trollies at least once a week. • To reduce number of expired medicines & liquid medicines not labelled with "opened on"/expiry date. • To support the ward staff in ensuring fridge and clinical room temperatures are recorded on a daily basis. The role is primarily ward based and will require a good understanding of medicine supply systems. You will be required to participate in the seven day, late duty and Bank Holiday rotas .
