    Bristol NHS Foundation Trust are pleased to offer this 9 month fixed term position for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join the Cardiology team at the Bristol Heart Institute to start in October 2026. The post-holder will have opportunities for training in coronary angiography, echocardiography, complex imaging, electrophysiology and pacing depending on the interests and experience of the successful candidate. The appointee will join a team of 11 cardiology registrars, including national trainees, and will look after cardiology inpatients, carry out outpatient clinics, and be part of the cardiology on call rota throughout the post. The Bristol Heart Institute is a state-of-the art £57m centre dedicated to cardiology, cardiac surgery, cardiac imaging and cardiovascular research. The Department of Cardiology provides a secondary and tertiary service for Bristol and the surrounding areas. The facility includes two cardiology wards and five dedicated catheterisation labs. The BHI also provides the 24/7 primary angioplasty service for the immediate catchment and the wider network. Outpatient clinics for general cardiology, as well as specialised clinics including heart failure, valvular heart disease, electrophysiology (EP), intervention and Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) take place in the BHI. A consultant led, post-take cardiology ward round is provided for all emergency admissions with a cardiac problem. This environment provides excellent opportunities for training. The appointee will join a team of 11 cardiology registrars including national trainees. The post will involve secondary and tertiary Cardiology, a full range of interests are represented including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, imaging, adult congenital heart disease and heart failure. The post holder will input to ward patients, outpatient clinics, and the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 11 – subject to change). There will be opportunities for training in coronary angiography, echocardiography, adult congenital heart disease, complex imaging, electrophysiology and pacing depending on the interests and experience of the successful candidate. The post is based in the Bristol Heart Institute which provides secondary and tertiary cardiac services in a purpose-built environment. We have 2 cardiology wards, 6 dedicated catheterisation labs and provide Cardiology for the population of south Bristol and North Somerset along with tertiary referrals from the whole of the Avon, Gloucester, Wiltshire and Somerset Cardiac Network. There are excellent opportunities for training. The trainee would be expected to look after the cardiology inpatients on the ward in addition to taking part in outpatient clinics. Specialist sessions such as echocardiography, MRI, CT, coronary angiography and pacing may be possible depending on the skills of the applicant. The post holder will also be expected to support the new Same Day Emergency Care service the department has set up. Job Requirements Qualifications You must be educated to HNC level in Early Education and Childcare or hold SNNB/HNC/SVQ3 qualifications in Childcare/Education or equivalent and be able to evidence additional learning and knowledge of current practice and legislation in relation to Early Learning and Childcare. Scottish Social Services Council: SSSC registration is an essential requirement of this role. If you are appointed and are not already a member of the relevant section of the SSSC Register, you will be required to apply for registration within 3 months of your start date to ensure that you are registered within the required 6 months.     Location: London Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Working Pattern: Full time A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Crime & Sanctions Advisory to join its General Counsel and Risk function in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise across AML/CTF and international sanctions to provide advisory support, contribute to strategic financial crime projects and help strengthen the firm's risk and compliance framework. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day advice to stakeholders on AML/CTF and sanctions compliance. Act as an escalation point for complex sanctions matters. Support the assessment and management of financial crime risks arising from new business and client onboarding. Advise on unusual activity reports and complex financial crime referrals. Contribute to strategic projects relating to AML/CTF and regulatory change. Support the development and implementation of financial crime policies, controls and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses, identifying areas for improvement. Support the investigation and resolution of financial crime and sanctions incidents, including remediation and lessons learned. Assist with regulatory enquiries, audits, industry surveys and preparation of supporting documentation. The successful candidate will have: A degree and at least four years' experience within a regulated financial crime environment. Strong technical knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and legislation. In-depth knowledge of international sanctions regimes, including OFSI, OFAC, EU and Australian requirements. Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to handle complex and highly confidential matters with discretion. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
