Key areas of focus for the team includes business support, delivery of key regeneration schemes, town centre development, promotion of visitor economy, health, sustainability and climate change, policy and strategy development and programme management of external funding. We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to support our Town Centre, Regeneration and Visitor Economy activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a part in projects and initiatives that help attract visitors, support businesses and strengthen our town centres and communities. Working alongside businesses, community groups, event organisers and strategic partners, you'll help deliver initiatives that showcase everything North East Derbyshire has to offer. The day-to-day work will cover a range of activities including but not limited to collating, analysing and reporting footfall and visitor data, supporting Town Centre Health Checks, including consultation, data collection and reporting, supporting visitor economy marketing campaigns and promotional activity, assisting with the planning and delivery of events, respond to enquiries from town centre and visitor economy businesses, undertaking research and supporting project and programme activities across a variety of projects and programmes. To be successful you will need: IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and the Internet Interpersonal skills, able to explain complex information in an accessible way Experience of devising, implementing, monitoring and evaluating administrative systems Ability to engage with a range of businesses, organisations and local residents, patiently empathising with their needs in an approachable and flexible manner. Experience in regeneration, tourism, events, place marketing, economic development or community engagement would be particularly beneficial but not essential. The post is office based at District Council Offices, Mill Lane, Wingerworth with potential for hybrid working subject to operational requirements. The job will require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as attendance at partner meetings across the County may be required.     21751 - Probation Service Officer - Restorative Justice Facilitator - Bridgend (Wales)

    Please note: This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role involves significant travel across Wales and therefore requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. As a Restorative Justice Facilitator, you will facilitate communication between victims of crime and people on probation or in prison to address the harm caused by crime and find a positive way forward. The role involves promoting awareness and understanding of restorative justice across the Probation Service and partner agencies, identifying suitable referrals, undertaking risk and suitability assessments, and preparing participants for restorative interventions. You will facilitate restorative justice interventions, provide post-intervention support and debriefing, and maintain case records in line with organisational and professional standards. Working as part of a small, geographically dispersed team, you will need to be self-motivated, organised and confident working independently whilst maintaining effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, professional judgement and the ability to manage sensitive situations. If this sounds like you, apply now. Full training will be provided. Following completion of your initial training, you will be expected to achieve and maintain Registered Practitioner status with the Restorative Justice Council and participate in ongoing professional development and supervision. If you are successful in the recruitment process to join the Probation Service, your starting salary will be £28,064 The Probation Service offers the opportunity for annual pay progression through a Competency Based Framework (CBF), which if eligible, will see your pay increase. CBF is designed to enable you to move up through the pay band range as your competence grows. New entrants are expected to join on the minimum of the pay band. Probation Service also increase their pay band ranges annually in line with Civil Service Pay guidance, which will also apply an increase to band pay ranges where applicable. Overview of the job The job holder will undertake the full range of work with people on probation before and after sentence. This will include assessment, sentence implementation, offender management and producing reports. The job holder will provide case management support to a full range of people on probation utilising service procedures and practice directions that underpin professional judgement.
