The post holder will be responsible for: Conducting outpatient clinics (seeing a mixture of new and follow-up patients) under supervision of the consultant and independently. Assisting in the operating theatres and conducting parallel lists with the consultant when appropriate. The timetable will include the equivalent of 3-4 clinics and 3-4 operating lists per week. There will be opportunities for supervised and independent operating commensurate with skills. Running the upper limb trauma service, ensuring patients are appropriately prioritised for surgery in close co-operation with the Trauma co-ordinators and developing referral pathways for upper limb trauma. Assessment, care and treatment of patients presenting and referred to the subspecialty. Supervising the foundation doctors, core trainees (or junior fellows) and SpRs in the day-to-day management of Upper Limb Elective and emergency orthopaedic inpatients. The postholder will be on-call 1:12 weekend rota. The post-holder will assist in a weekly fracture clinic.

This is a 12 month fixed term post based at The City of Coventry Health Centre - a modern, purpose built facility that provides a great working environment for the team – with 3 locality clinics across the city and a home visiting service. You will be required to have excellent assessment, diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of specialist podiatry clinics in complication management, wound care, nail surgery, and MSK. The service works closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, local integrated teams, and acute services. You should be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within the podiatry team. Effective organisation and time management skills are essential as management of a domiciliary caseload is required. Your future development will be supported and developed through a structured annual appraisal process. We encourage ongoing CPD through clinical supervision, in-house training, and external training sessions where appropriate. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP. Provide highly specialist psychological assessment of clients with highly complex conditions based on the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources, which will include neuropsychological testing Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and provide specialist advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management. Undertake highly skilled evaluations and makes decisions about treatment options. Provide highly specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other staff contributing directly to clients diagnosis, formulation and intervention plan. Facilitate decision-making by planning and mapping assessment processes/interventions with members of the team to determine the most appropriate treatment modality or service for clients. Clinical supervision of Trainee Applied Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists under the guidance of Consultant Applied Psychologist. Provides highly specialist advice, guidance, consultation and supervision to other direct care staff in MDT and in other OA services such as ECMHT, the newly formed Hospital at Home Team, Admiral Nurses and local Older Adult Inpatient wards as appropriate. Devise and deliver training to other staff in MAS MDT and across the Older Adult Division,
