The post holder will contribute to and support the provision of training and monitoring of the IG framework and will provide and receive complex information whilst offering advice and guidance on the practical implementation of IG. • To support the Data Protection Officer with the implementation of GDPR within SaTH, and provide support for the Trust to become compliant with GDPR • Manage the population of the information asset register and offer advice and support to those Information Asset Owners (IAOs) and administrators. • Provide and receive complex information relating to information breaches and IG queries • Undertake factual investigations into information governance incidents and maintain a log of any incidents and remedial recommendations and actions • To deliver all aspects of IG Training for all staff • Provide administrative support where required which will include being the first contact within the IG Team, booking meetings with data subjects and managing the dedicated IG inbox • To conduct spot check audits, Information Security Audits and Confidentiality audits.     We are seeking a Finance Officer within our Financial Management/reporting Team. The job involves assisting the Management Accountants and Management Accounts Assistants in the provision of a complete, professional financial service to a range of Sites/Departments, providing timely and accurate financial support and advice through the provision of robust monitoring information. The postholder will support the Deputy Finance Business Partner/ Finance Manager in delivering a customer focused service to budget holders of the highest possible standard and maintaining adherence to the Trust monthly reporting timetable, preparing monthly financial performance reports and forecasts, analysing trends and variances. The post holder will assist the Deputy Finance Business Partner/ Finance Manager in ensuring the Sites/Departments can manage their financial position and the Trust meets its financial targets. This will involve a range of regular analysis work, supplemented by ad hoc tasks as required Working with Site/Department Management to agree their budget for each year, particularly with regards to the validation of staff in post and the costing of staff Assisting in the production of the Site/Department monthly financial position within monthly timetables, particularly with intelligence gathering and producing analysis as required Supporting the production of robust and detailed year end forecasts in accordance with Trust standards and timetables Preparing, calculating, planning and monitoring complex information (using Excel spreadsheets and other software as appropriate), ensuring the accurate input of data and coding of transactions. Ensuring that that all relevant income and expenditure is accurately reported in the financial statements of the Trust in accordance with monthly reporting timetables Supporting the service with changes and recruitment of staffing.
