Role Responsibilities as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator: Plan and organise activities Good time management Excellent interpersonal skills Creative and enthusiastic To be an Ambassador for the Company both inside and outside of the home Contribute to our residents' well-being through thoughtful, personalised activities and have a weekly plan ready each Monday to bring joy to our residents’ lives. Provide support for our residents facing confusion or behavioural challenges by employing effective person-centred distraction techniques and activity baskets and offer one-to-one comfort and companionship for residents unable to participate in activities, documenting interactions in their notes. To keep up to date of new developments in both activities and care by identifying and attending activities meetings and ensure our monthly Newsletter is completed and is displayed around the home and posted onto our Facebook page. To encourage and involve team members, relatives and friends in the home’s activities by sending communication emails to the team, relatives and friends and act as an Ambassador for the home, including Fund Raising so that our residents can enjoy additional social events. Role Requirements as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator: At least two years’ relevant experience as an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator providing activities in a care home or similar environment.
