They will coordinate and implement strategies to engage with clinical and academic researchers, patient groups and the public to improve the quality and accessibility of research. This includes the development and oversight of an engagement, communication and social media plan for research and innovation. They will provide specialist advice on patient and public inclusion and engagement (PPIE) to grant and fellowship applicants.
