EQUANS are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Leeds Oncology contract – the role will be based at St James’ University Hospital in Leeds. This will be a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLECoordination and planning of all EQUANS Buildings LTD delivered services for the Leeds Oncology Wing, including coordination and control of specialist subcontractors. Ensuring all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the relevant standard in line with the requirements of the maintenance specification. Provide line management control of directly employed labour including technicians, crafts persons and maintenance assistants. Ensure penalty deductions are minimised by achieving the required performance targets described in the maintenance specification. Take an active role in health and safety initiatives by designing and delivering regular tool box talks. General Overview: We are looking for a driven individual to add expertise and dimension to the building maintenance teams at the Barnsley Schools contract. They will deliver planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across a portfolio of 13 primary schools within a PFI contract. The Maintenance Engineer ensures buildings remain safe, operational, and compliant, supporting a high‑quality learning environment for staff and students. This includes carrying out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and contributing to statutory compliance. Suitable candidates should be HCPC registered and have a determination to improve the lives of older adults with acute mental health difficulties. Prior experience in working with severe mental health problems is essential and experience of working with older adults is desirable. The successful applicant will be managed by and offered clinical supervision from the Consultant Clinical Psychologist in the service and also the Psychological Professions Lead for Acute Services. The older adult acute inpatient environment often deals with acute crisis and distress. The psychologist will demonstrate passion for working with people with acute mental health difficulties and will be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively as part of wider multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be required to work into the ward team providing a range of assessment and intervention work through established and well governed clinical pathways.
