I would look to employ two PAs so I can rotate them and then always have someone at home with me. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys caring, values companionship, and understands the importance of creating a safe, calm, and supportive home environment. A genuine love for animals is essential. My indoor bunny is a huge part of my life and is treated very much as a family member. The PAs will need to be happy caring for the bunny, including feeding, helping keep its living area clean and comfortable, and assisting with picking the bunny up/bringing the bunny over to me so I can carry out hands-on care, including snuggles and cuddles. This role would suit someone calm, caring, patient and compassionate, who enjoys creating a safe and comfortable home and who truly loves animals. I am looking for someone who can help me to be as independent as I can within my home. If you are looking for a meaningful role where your support really matters, this could be a wonderful opportunity. Candidate qualities: - Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality - Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace - Reliable with good timekeeping - Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative - Hygienic, tidy and well organised - Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties - Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills - Honest and cheerful - Creative - Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard - Must be comfortable with pets - Able to always work to high standards of health & safety - Happy to work in a smoking environment - Must be an animal lover and able to help with my bunny’s care – guidance provided on this - I am looking for a PA who is Empathetic and understanding of my struggles day to day. I am also looking for someone who is proactive and who will help me to be as independent as I can within my home. - Take initiative when necessary would be great to help me as I am currently bed bound but would like this to change if I have the right support and things in place. - Please note that hay may also need to be handled when caring for her bunny, so this role may not be suitable for those with hay or animal-related allergies.
