This role will work alongside our senior clinical management team to deliver the training and professional development for the hospital network. This post will provide KIMS Hospital network with the clinical expertise, skills and agility to systematically address the effectiveness of care through the transformation of practices and culture to improve patient care and experience. Design and deliver a patient safety initiative, growing and supporting an open and speak up culture within all teams. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Role Responsibilities include: - Ensure mandatory training requirements are fulfilled and that staff education and development is aligned to staff roles via the a training needs analysis. - To work clinically supporting staff to meet identified learning needs and competencies. To provide clinical supervision as required. - To work clinically supporting staff to meet identified learning needs and competencies. To provide clinical supervision as required. - Work alongside human resources to develop guidelines and policies related to clinical training and education. - Support the implementation of evidenced based patient care within the clinical areas through training and development - Promote and initiate innovation and new ideas in methods of care delivery in line with national guidance. - Deliver the Resuscitation programme for the network, including ILS, BLS & PBLS and PILS. - Deliver the moving and handling programme for staff groups aligned to their role.
