You’ll be confident interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, assessing supply chain quotations and identifying commercial risks and opportunities. You’ll have strong numerical and analytical skills, good commercial awareness and an organised approach to managing multiple deadlines. Experience of working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts would be advantageous. A HNC, HND or degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline would be beneficial, alongside good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and estimating systems. We’d love to hear from you if… You have previous estimating experience within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or a similar construction environment, with a good understanding of construction methodologies, measurement and first-principles estimating. Experience within the water and wastewater sector would be particularly beneficial, although we’re open to candidates from other relevant infrastructure backgrounds. You’ll be confident interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, assessing supply chain quotations and identifying commercial risks and opportunities. You’ll have strong numerical and analytical skills, good commercial awareness and an organised approach to managing multiple deadlines. Experience of working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts would be advantageous. A HNC, HND or degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline would be beneficial, alongside good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and estimating systems.
