We are looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join our team as a Renal Coordinator, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This is a vital role supporting patient care, which includes regular travel to hospitals across the region. As a Renal Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for all renal transport matters across Dorset. You’ll build strong relationships with renal teams, support operational performance, and monitor transport services for dialysis patients. You will ensure effective communication between bookings, planning/control, clinical staff, and other key stakeholders. The role also includes supporting incident investigations, managing complaints, and arranging pre-travel assessments for new or complex patients. Your overall aim is to use resources efficiently and ensure renal patients in Dorset receive high‑quality care and an excellent transport experience. Summary Of Main Duties Include: Act as the main point of contact for all renal transport-related queries. Build strong working relationships with renal units and hospital teams. Work with bookings, planning, and control teams to monitor and support renal dialysis transport performance. Coordinate patient transport needs, prioritising dialysis journeys and ensuring timely pickups. Communicate proactively with renal teams about patient readiness, transport times, and any issues. Manage and update confidential patient information in relevant systems, following data protection requirements. Support incident investigations and help manage complaints. Arrange pre-travel assessments for new or complex patients. What’s In It For You?
