We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member to join us in the Cardiology Department. The role includes supporting our band 4 cath lab co-ordinator in order to maintain the smooth, efficient running of the department. This would include welcoming patients, clinicians, and visitors to the department, dealing with enquiries, bookings and appointments via the telephone, email and in person. The post-holder will work closely with all members of staff in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. This will require good communication and interpersonal skills, a knowledge of PAS with a willingness to learn new systems specific to cardiology. The post holder will be expected to work independently, using their own initiative to make independent judgement within trust policies and guidelines. The role will suit a team player who is also able to act on their own initiative and prioritise their workload with flexibility to the daily operational demands.
