    Head Chef Caravan Southbank, London Overall earnings from £56,000-60,000 per year, plus bonus scheme Full time This November, we’re opening our tenth, and biggest, Caravan at the Southbank. And we’re looking for a brilliant Head Chef to help lead our kitchen team. We’re after someone kind, confident and genuinely passionate about running a highly functional kitchen. Someone who knows how to lead and inspire a team, is passionate about fresh ingredients and back of house operations, and gets a kick out of helping their team develop and give their guests the best experience possible You’ll be joining Caravan as we open a special new restaurant, with two floors, multiple bars and plenty of opportunity to make your mark from day one. The role As Head Chef you’ll work alongside your General Manager and the management team to make sure the kitchen runs brilliantly every day. That means setting the highest standards for health & safety, culture, hospitality and developing the team around you to make sure every dish sent out is one you’re proud to serve. You’ll know how to lead from the front, when to coach and when to jump in and help get things moving. What you'll be doing as Head Chef • Setting and managing the standards for health & safety and delivering excellence across the kitchen • Making sure every dish is made consistently, confidently and to spec • Leading by example and helping create the kind of hospitality people want to come back for • Coaching, training and developing the kitchen team, sharing your knowledge as you go • Giving new team members a great start through engaging training and onboarding • Keeping on top of stock, costs, cleanliness, health & safety and all the brilliant basics that make a great kitchen work • Working closely with the wider restaurant team to give every guest the best experience possible Why Caravan?
