Participating in ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, CPA reviews and Mental Health Act processes. Liaising effectively with patients, families, GPs, acute hospitals, community mental health teams and other external agencies as appropriate. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to clinical governance, auditing, and quality improvement activities. Resident On-Call Responsibilities The post includes participation in the resident medical on-call rota: (for example) Weekday resident on-call: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (5:00 pm – 9:00 am). Weekend resident on-call: Approximately two weekends in every four-week rota (Friday 5:00 pm – Monday 9:00 am).
