Your responsibilities will include: • Providing high-quality care and support to children aged 0–5 • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS • Planning and supporting engaging, age-appropriate activities • Observing and assessing children’s development • Maintaining accurate learning and development records • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues • Supporting children’s individual needs and interests • Ensuring safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed • Creating a welcoming and stimulating learning environment • Working effectively as part of a professional Early Years team WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for practitioners who are passionate about Early Years and take pride in providing outstanding care and education. The ideal candidate will have: • A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, depending on the position • Previous experience working within a nursery, pre-school or Early Years setting • A good understanding of the EYFS framework • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • The ability to work effectively as part of a team • A reliable, professional and positive approach to work • A current Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable CAREER PROGRESSION We understand that finding the right nursery is about more than simply securing your next job.
