Key Responsibilities • Carry out all joinery work associated with heating & electrical works • Remove and reinstate kitchen units, cupboards, worktops, boxing-in and other fixtures to provide safe access for boiler installations. • Construct, modify and install timber frameworks, boxing and enclosures for boilers and associated pipework. • Complete high-quality making good works following installations, ensuring a professional finish. • Repair or replace skirting boards, architraves, door frames, flooring and other timber fixtures affected during installation works. • Install loft hatches, access panels and other timber structures where required. • Lift and reinstate floorboards to allow safe access for heating engineers. • Carry out minor plaster boarding and patch repairs where appropriate. • Ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations, health and safety legislation and company quality standards. • Work collaboratively with Gas Installation Engineers, Electricians and other trades to ensure installations are completed efficiently and to programme. • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment, protecting customers' homes and belongings throughout each installation. • Identify and report any defects or additional works that may impact the installation. • Accurately complete all required job documentation, photographs and electronic records. • Ensure company tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition. • Deliver excellent customer service, communicating professionally with customers throughout the installation process. • Follow all company policies, procedures and safe systems of work. • Attend training and development activities to maintain skills and support continuous improvement. • Support the wider Installation Team with additional property maintenance tasks where required.
