Resident weekend on-call approximately two weekends in every four-week rota (Friday 5:00 pm – Monday 9:00 am). This is an exciting opportunity to work across two highly specialised inpatient psychiatric, offering excellent exposure to complex psychiatry within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will work across a (20 female beds): Sunrise Ward (10 beds) is a specialist Eating Disorders ward providing assessment and treatment for adults with severe eating disorders requiring inpatient care. New Dawn Ward (9 beds) is a Tier 4 specialist Personality Disorder service delivering psychologically informed treatment for adults with complex emotional and relational difficulties. Annexe (1 bed Long Term Segregation (LTS) unit. Unlike a traditional Resident Medical Officer post, this hybrid role combines autonomous daytime clinical responsibilities with resident on-call duties, providing a broad and varied clinical experience across two specialist services. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Teacher. The successful Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEMH, while promoting positive behaviour, supporting emotional development and working closely with teaching assistants, families and the wider pastoral team.
