    We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our Neonatal Unit team. As an integral member of the Nursing team, you will work across all areas of the Neonatal Unit, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention. In accordance with agreed policies, this will include ensuring the delivery of environmental cleaning, management and ordering of stores, managing linen, cleaning of medical equipment and quality assurance auditing. Working under the direction of the nurse in charge, you will supervise the nursery support workers, as well as working closely with facilities, stores, linen services, estates, porters, company representatives, milk bank and milk preparation team. This will require good communication and organisational skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to plan and manage your own workload.     Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (BFT) is seeking doctors to join ITS City & Weston Hospital Operating Unit’s (C&WHOU) Adult Critical Care team at ST3+ equivalent level. These full-time posts are based across the adult intensive care units at Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Heart Institute and Weston General Hospital. The post holder will work within a multiprofessional team, alongside other doctors, to deliver high-quality care on a full-shift rota while gaining experience in both tertiary referral and district general hospital settings. The Intensive Care Units at C&WHOU provide Critical Care support across all of its clinical services. These posts form part of the resident staffing of the ICUs. The post holder will work resident day and night shifts in both Bristol ICUs, providing care for the patients in the unit and on the wards as part of the multidisciplinary ICU team. The postholder will be required to work resident shifts including evenings, nights and weekends. The postholder will be working in a busy tertiary ICU and will gain experience in several different organ support modalities including respiratory, cardiovascular and renal support as well as developing their practical skills (central venous and arterial cannulation, cardiac output monitoring, point of care ultrasound and endo-tracheal intubation). The postholder will be a key member of the cardiac arrest team. In addition to bedside clinical teaching, there is an embedded teaching programme covering all aspects of the ICM syllabus that takes place every Wednesday. There is the opportunity to be involved in ongoing audit and quality improvement projects and the unit is research active with several ongoing research projects and international studies. The post holder will undertake rotations between the photon and proton departments and will work across a wide range of areas; pre-treatment, treatment-prep, the treatment units and brachytherapy. UCLH is seeking a committed individual with the energy and focus to continue building on the existing service of excellence. Radiotherapy services at UCLH are delivered across two departments. The photon department is equipped with Varian TrueBeam systems with advanced imaging packages and 6DoF couches, and is in the process of acquiring and installing an additional Halcyon unit. The department has a comprehensive brachytherapy suite and a Gulmay skin unit. UCLH is one of only two NHS sites delivering proton beam therapy across the NHS. The proton beam therapy (PBT) department is equipped with Varian ProBeam gantries with advanced imaging packages and robotic couches. Both departments have a dedicated CT scanner and the PBT department also has a dedicated MRI scanner. The department delivers radiotherapy services for a broad spectrum of cancers comprising of common cancers as well as specialist treatments including brachytherapy, molecular radiotherapy and total body irradiation. The PBT department focus’s predominantly on head and neck, brain and sarcoma treatment sites. Paediatrics and TYAs make up approximately one third of the patient cohort. • Be recognised as the lead practitioner in their specific field, setting an example to junior staff and being available to advise colleagues in other areas. • Deputise for the Band 8a where necessary to address staffing issues, skill mix and tackle wider departmental problems. Liaise with operational managers, disseminating information and attaining departmental working objectives. • Must be aware of the skills and competencies available within the team, utilising them effectively and delegating appropriately. About the Role Your duties will include: • Overseeing day-to-day service delivery across Rutland’s four libraries,supportingconsistent working practices, procedures and customer service standards, and providing guidance andsupportto colleagues. • Coordinating the effective management and development of the library management system and associated digital systems, including public IT, self-service, printing and Wi-Fi, working with IT teams, suppliers and partners as required. • Coordinating library data, performance information and reporting, using information and analysis to support service planning, monitoring, statutory returns and continuous improvement. • Supporting the Library Team Leader with staff coordination, training and operational issues, including line management responsibility for designated casual library staff, and supporting relevant income-generating activities, contracts and resources. • Deputising for the Library Team Leader as required, providing day-to-day operational leadership and exercising delegated authority to support the continuity and effective delivery of the service. Additional Requirements The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Costs for the DBS are covered by Rutland County Council. Please note that you will need a full driving licence to enable you to travel across the county. You will be organised, proactive and confident working with systems, data and people across a multi-site library service, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent library services for our communities. To succeed in this role, you will be: • An organised and proactive colleague with library experience, demonstrating the ability to coordinate work, prioritise tasks and workindependently. • Confident using computerised systems and digital technology, with the ability to understand and resolve systems and operational issues. • Able to use information and data to monitor activity, identify issues and support effective decision-making and service improvement. • An effective communicator who can provide guidance and direction to colleagues, build positive working relationships and work collaboratively across the service. • Committed to providing high-quality, inclusive library services and encouraging reading and engagement across our communities.
