We would love to hear from you if… You have previous experience in a Stores Supervisor, Parts Supervisor, Parts Manager or similar role, ideally gained within plant hire, fleet management, construction, commercial vehicles or another engineering-related environment. A strong understanding of stock control, inventory management and supplier coordination is important, together with good commercial awareness and an understanding of how effective inventory management can support cost control and operational efficiency. Along with solid leadership and organisational skills which are essential, with experience supervising a team and the ability to delegate effectively, manage competing priorities and maintain clear standards. Additionally, good IT skills are required, including experience using inventory, stock control or fleet management systems and Microsoft Office. Experience of procurement processes, supplier performance management and workshop or planned maintenance activities would be advantageous. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills will be important, as you’ll work closely with teams across Plant, Fleet, Procurement, Workshops and Operations to ensure the right parts and equipment are available when needed.
