The role will involve assisting with paperwork and administrative tasks, as I am no longer able to write. An interest in social media, video editing, or digital content creation would be highly desirable, as I have conducted interviews with Martial Arts Masters and would like support with editing and sharing this content online. Additional duties may include support with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, food shopping, and attending appointments or activities where required. I have an assistance dog, so applicants must be comfortable around dogs. A car driver with business insurance is essential for this role.     Passive Fire Protection Installer Location: Site based within Worcester Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours This is an exciting opportunity for a Passive Fire Protection Installer to join Novus Property Solutions, planned works team providing high-quality Fire Door installation and remedial works within Social Housing tenanted properties This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful. An outline of your responsibilities and experience Installation of fire doors and completion of remedial works within a social housing environment Previous experience in social housing, including working directly with tenants, is desirable Ability to work from job tickets or handheld devices on a daily basis Work collaboratively with other trades and the wider site or contract team, while managing your own workload effectively Successful candidates may be required to complete a skills test, including the installation of a fire door Adhere to Novus’ high standards of health and safety at all times Applicants will have joinery/carpentry qualification at level 2 or above, FIRAS qualifications are desirable NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection or Joinery/ Carpentry Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus. Experience within social housing refurbishment environment. Qualifications and knowledge in; NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery or Passive Fire Protection.
