    We are looking to appoint a forward-thinking and collaborative Consultant in Clinical Haematology to complement of a team of 12 consultants at the Northern Care Alliance with base hospital being Salford Royal Hospital where there are currently 4.8 WTE consultant haematologists based. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established consultant team providing comprehensive clinical haematology services to the local Salford population whilst also contributing to the management of complex haematological problems arising from the extensive tertiary and regional services. • Provide consultant-level inpatient and outpatient clinical Haematology care. • Participate in the consultant on-call service and provide specialist haematological advice across Salford Royal, Royal Bolton and Wigan hospitals (WWL). • Participate in the management of malignant haematological disorders, including complex systemic anti-cancer therapies. Provide expert advice for complex haematological problems arising within Salford Royal's major trauma, critical care and tertiary services. • Participate in North West Sector multidisciplinary team meetings and regional specialist pathways. • Contribute to laboratory haematology, including blood-film reporting and clinical liaison with laboratory colleagues. • Contribute to the development of advanced treatment pathways, including bispecific antibody therapies and ambulatory treatment models. • Participate in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and patient-safety activity. • Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education and supervision. • Participate in research and support recruitment to clinical trials where appropriate. • Work collaboratively across NCA and with tertiary partners including MFT, The Christie and Greater Manchester HODS. The successful candidates will need to hold a BSc in Optometry and be registered with the General Optical Council.     This post is to work in the CAMHS Liaison Team based at the acute hospitals Emergency departments including the Queen's Medical Centre, King's Mill Hospital and Bassetlaw hospital. This service is a 24 hour service offering assessments of Children and Young People presenting to the Emergency Department in Crisis. The service also covers the Crisis phone line from 8 pm to 8 a.m. The post holder will ensure young people receive appropriate assessment, intervention and treatment with minimal avoidable delays, whilst improving the quality and experience of care. The service will be for young people under the age of 18 who are admitted to hospital due to self-harm and young people who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health of such a degree that without the intervention of the CAMHS Liaison service, inpatient psychiatric care would be required. As a CAMHS service we actively work with both children and families and recognise the value of a systemic formulation alongside our mental health and risk assessment. Clinicians with a varied work experience are welcome to apply as we assess a diverse population Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check.Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service.     We are looking for an experienced Domestic Supervisor to work as part of the Facilities Department based at Clatterbridge Hospital. You would be providing quality domestic support, to ensure we perform to a high standard of cleaning and domestic duties within our 71 impatient bed unit.This position requires access to transport for work purposes.
