We have an exciting opportunity for aRadiopharmacy Technician to join our expanding radiopharmacy team consisting of Healthcare Scientists and Pharmacy Technicians. The role involvesproduction of radiopharmaceuticals under an MHRA Specials Licence andassisting in the provision of the service We welcome applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the Trust values and satisfy theessential criteriaof the person specification and responsibilities of the job description. Radiopharmacy production is allocated on a rotational basis and requires a 6.00am start but with a 7am/7.15am start on non-production days. The role will include weekend work and late shifts as required. * This is a Band 4/5 role dependent on experience. * • Main duties of the job: • To take part in the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This will require a start time of 6.00AM for some elements of the role on a rotational basis. • To communicate effectively with individuals within radiopharmacy, Quality Control (QC), Regional Quality Control Laboratory (RQCL), external customers and contractors. • To develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
