About the role: As a Break support worker you’ll be working hands-on day in day out with the young people living in the children’s home. The first twelve months of your time at Break will see you build relationships with the young people we care for and support in our homes. Day to day you may find yourself planning and taking part in trips and activities and learning new skills to help young people overcome communication difficulties. You will need to successfully complete a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare within 24 months of Support Work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team. Please note that you must have a full, valid, manual driving licence. You will be required to work shifts based on a 4 week rolling rota, consisting of a mix of 7am- 2.30pm/2pm- 930pm and a minimum of 2 sleep in’s a month. The basic annual salary range for this role is £25,174 - £25,585.
