Job Description £14.33 per hour We are looking for zero-hours Cleaners/Housekeepers to join our team at the British Airways Lounges, Gatwick to provide cover on an adhoc basis when our full-time staff are unable to work. Duties will include; Cleaning and maintaining to high standards in an efficient manner throughout the lounges Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors Emptying rubbish bins and wiping down communal areas Servicing toilets and showers Tackling heavy cleaning jobs such as deep cleans Ensuring that all areas remain clear and free of debris Notifying management of any repairs that are required Appropriately mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions Maintain and top up stock when needed We are open from 05:00 until 22:00, seven days a week, 365 days per year. What you’ll be doing as the Mechanical & Electrical Technician - Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdowns. - You will investigate plant failures and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process. This may involve investigating and diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs during incidents. - You will be expected to provide technical advice, refer to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required. - Examples of equipment that you will be working on will be various pumps and associated control gear, 3-phase motors, starters and controls, electronic control systems such as VSDs, automatic valves and penstocks, flow, level and pressure measurement, programmable logic controllers, variable speed drives and controls, chemical handling, and dosing equipment. - Participate in a standby rota following the relevant training.
