Due to the wide range of activities the individuals participate in, as well as the rural location of the service, a full UK driving license is essential for this role. This role will support the delivery of practical teaching for our aviation courses, working closely with academic staff to provide an engaging and high-quality learning environment for students. Based at the University's Treforest Campus, you will play a vital part in maintaining and operating our aviation hangar and composite repair workshop. The role involves demonstrating aircraft maintenance procedures, supporting student learning activities, and ensuring the safe and efficient use of hangar and workshop facilities and equipment. Knowledge of composite repairs and experience working in a Part-145 approved aircraft maintenance environment would be advantageous.
