Summary
A warm, energetic, and highly organised Part-time Live-in or Live-out Afterschool Nanny/Nanny-Housekeepe is needed by a family based in Eastbourne, Sussex, to care for their four school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and be confident managing morning and after-school routines, nursery and school pick-ups, and the children's daily activities. Responsibilities will also include preparing healthy, nutritious, and allergy-conscious meals, light housekeeping, and child-related laundry.
Strict non-smokers and non-vapers are required due to the children's sensitivities. A driver with their own car is essential.
A valid first aid qualification is a must for this role.
Working hours: Monday afternoon, Tuesday to Friday, Saturday morning 8 am to 10 am and 3 pm to 8 pm (With flexibility required)
Accommodation: Fully furnished, lockable double bedroom with an adjacent private bathroom.
Duties include:
providing attentive care and ensuring the children's safety and well-being
supporting the children's development and daily routines
preparing healthy meals and snacks
organising and participating in age-appropriate activities
engaging the children in educational play and outdoor activities
washing and bathing the children
carrying out school and nursery runs when required
helping with homework
keeping the children's bedroom and play areas clean and tidy
assisting with general child-related duties
potentially supporting with nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
