Summary
Main duties of the job Providing comprehensive patient care, including health assessments, wound management, and health education Administering medications and injections accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed protocols Assisting with minor procedures and clinical examinations Monitoring patient vital signs and recording medical histories Supporting GPs with administrative tasks such as updating patient records and managing appointments Offering health advice and promoting preventative care strategies to patients Ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed within the practice Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards Experience in the following areas chronic disease management, immunisations, vaccinations, minor wounds, complex wounds, leg ulcers, smears, ECG, blood samples etc. However, training will be offered to suitable candidates.
