Summary

Our Anaesthetics Theatres Team has an exciting opportunity for 2 Band 5 Anaesthetic Practitioners / ODPs. 1 for our day department and 1 for our permanent Nights emergency Team. We are looking for highly enthusiastic, committed, and dynamic individuals with Anaesthetic skills who can provide optimum quality of care to patients, offering support to the multi-professional team. The successful candidates are expected to have good communication skills and be an excellent team players to support the team in achieving high standards of patient care within theatres at all times. In return we offer comprehensive training in all aspects of our service. In addition, we have a dedicated team of Theatre Clinical Educators who will support and guide you through the excellent range of opportunities that UHCW NHS Trust has to offer. Assess requirements of the anaesthetic room/recovery room for the operating list. Provide all necessary equipment and materials for the list. Monitor all equipment used, act if found to be faulty. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of operative procedures/departmental procedures. Demonstrate budgetary control, ordering and supplying materials required within agreed budgets.
