Pay Rate:

£16.91 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) /

£18.95 per hour (Holiday pay included) - Days

£18.06 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) /

£20.23 per hour (Holiday pay included) - Nights

Holiday Pay: You can choose to have your holiday pay accrued and paid when you take annual leave, or receive it as rolled-up holiday pay within your regular wages. The rolled-up rate includes the applicable holiday pay uplift.

Times and Days of Work

Day Shifts: 09:00 Starts

Night Shifts: 19:00 Starts

Class 1 Driver to join a leading logistics and distribution business based in

Hoyland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers seeking ongoing temporary work. The role involves nationwide deliveries to vendors and customer sites, ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally, and on time.

About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing nationwide collections from vendors, ensuring goods are collected safely, professionally, and on time. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with regular work available for reliable and experienced drivers.

Your Duties Will Include:

Collecting goods from vendors nationwide

Completing pre-use and end-of-shift vehicle checks

Ensuring all collection paperwork is completed accurately

Adhering to all UK driving laws, tachograph, and working time regulations

Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when representing the client

Ensuring collected loads are secured correctly and transported safely

Reporting any collection issues or delays promptly

What We're Looking For:

Valid Class 1 (CE) Licence

Minimum

2 years Class 1 driving experience

Maximum

6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

Valid CPC Qualification Card

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Reliable and professional approach to work

Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
