This is a permanent daytime role offering regular work and weekly pay.About the companyThe company is a transport and logistics business serving Bristol and the wider South West. Its operations include road distribution, palletised deliveries, general haulage and warehousing, supporting regional and national freight movements. The employer also operates a local depot serving the Bristol area.Key responsibilities• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle on planned delivery routes• Complete multidrop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Load, secure and unload goods safely and efficiently• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain accurate proof of delivery• Communicate professionally with customers and the transport team• Follow all road safety, drivers’ hours and company procedures• Maintain the vehicle and report any defects or issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 licence• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous multidrop delivery experience, preferably with more than 10 drops per route• Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas is beneficial• Strong communication and customer service skills• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively• Good physical fitness for loading and unloading dutiesBenefits• £16 per hour• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Paid every Wednesday• Local Bristol-based workIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with strong multidrop experience, apply today.
