Facilities Technician?

This is a part time role, working 18.5 hours per week.

You will work a variety of shifts, between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30pm, with occasional working until 10.00pm required. This role could be based at any of our campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Due to the shift work nature of this role, you will receive a shift allowance of £500 per annum.

This role involves a high level of physical activity, and some working outdoors.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to day duties

To be a focal point and point of call for customer (student) support.

To support the safety and security of the College premises, vehicles and contents thereof.

As instructed, to ensure that the premises are properly maintained, and all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning. To undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.

To report any Health and Safety hazards or maintenance/minor works to the Line Manager.

Required skills and qualifications

Excellent customer service skills.

Full driving licence is required as you will be required to travel between campuses.

Ability to work on own initiative.

Proactive approach to problem solving.
