Summary

The opportunity

A values-led not-for-profit is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to lead the delivery of its People Services.

You'll provide expert, risk-aware HR leadership and help shift the function from reactive to proactive and insight-led.

Key responsibilities

Lead a consistent, high-quality HR service across a dispersed workforce

Act as senior escalation point for complex and high-risk ER cases, including safeguarding-related concerns

Provide legally compliant, trauma-informed advice, and coach managers to resolve issues early

Use workforce data to shape proactive interventions and advise senior leaders

Support the People Strategy, organisational change and culture initiatives

Keep policies and case management compliant and audit-ready

Lead and develop a small People Services team#

About you

Strong generalist HR experience at HRBP, senior Advisor or HR Manager level, ideally in the charity or not-for-profit sector

Confident in handling sensitive ER casework, with an understanding of safeguarding in a workforce context

Credible with senior stakeholders, and experienced in coaching managers

CIPD qualified (Level 7 desirable) or equivalent
